The Radiant Echo: Awakening the Goddess Within through Yoga + Sound

In a world that often demands we move at a frantic pace, there is a deep, rhythmic wisdom waiting within the feminine spirit— a force that is within us! You are invited to a sacred immersion where we will peel back the layers of “doing” and drop into the profound beauty of “being” on 3/8 in celebration of Women’s Day at Alta. Alta (a woman owned dispensary in Soho) will be providing their intimate space filled with incredible products made by women.

Through a curated blend of fluid vinyasa and restorative movement, we will bridge the gap between the physical body and the divine heart.

We will also awaken the voice (throat chakra portal) through learning and chanting a beautiful mantra in sanskrit (ancient hindu language), The Gayatri Mantra: a sacred universal hymn from the Vedas, dedicated to the divine light (Sun Goddess) that illuminates all existence. Each participant will receive a Tibetan Sound Bowl adding to the vibrations in the room.

Your Guide:

Carleen Shankle is a certified Yoga Instructor with 17 years experience of teaching in NY. She began studying and practicing in 2008 and has been certified since 2009 with Yoga Sutra, currently known as The Yoga School of New York. She is currently a lead teacher with Brooklyn Flow and Heal Haus where she holds workshops and classes within the vinyasa and restorative styles of yoga. She is also a Nike Well Collective Trainer offering yogic practices for Nike events. Her other offerings include guided meditation rooted in visualization, breath work, partner yoga, individual and group vedic chanting circles where she continues her studies under her teacher/mentor in the Krishnamacharya Tradition.
